    Team Picker

    Hello all,

I found this Team Generator and I need to increase the number of officers.
At present it generates 4 teams, each team has 1 leader, 1 assistant and 2 officers.
Can you help me to add more officers, let's say 8...9 or 10 officers/team, please?
    and
is possible to have variant 2 with desired leaders and assistants and the officers randomly only?

Thank you very much for your help!

There are no macros in the attachment, so there us nothing to help you to adapt.

    Hey John,

Attach a sample of what you have or what it should look like. The example from 2010 that you attaches is a little scattered.
One test is worth a thousand opinions.

    Re: Team Picker

    Hi Marvin
    Thanks!

What I want is to have 4 teams. Each team has to have a leader, an assistant and officers.
in my example, I have 4 leaders, 4 assistants and 37 officers (or more, or less).
-one way is to establish myself the leaders and assistants and arrange the officers randomly
-another way is to arrange randomly all of them.

Attached a test file for your reference!

    Re: Team Picker

    Hi John,

The better method for sorting people randomly is to use a Rand() column and then sort the people. Because the last column has the most people I used it to show you how to do this. See the attached. I think this method is much better instead of VBA. You can use this method for lots of different kinds of problems. If you need it to look exactly like you have in your attached, you could copy from the Pivot and past values using transpose.
