Question Looking to create a Multiselect Listbox that looks like a touch screen (has buttons)

    [Hi there,

I am new to the forum as a poster, but have been helped by your posts so many times I've lost count. Thanks everyone.

I have been asked if I could create a UserForm that has a multiselect listbox that looks like you press a button to indicate your selections. The idea is that the columns you see here are columns in the worksheet, and you can select as many options in any of the categories. The selected choices will be written back to the cell with a comma and a linefeed for parsing.

I know, and most of my other data entry and edit forms all use the checkbox, but for some reason, this was requested. I've exhausted myself for a week searching the Web and can't find anything. Perhaps a Grid, but I'm guessing.

If this is possible, I would be interested in trying it. If its not, then that is the definitive answer. If you think its just a silly idea, then its not happening either.

I'm using Excel 2013 VBA and as stated, this is to go in a form (I know there are no control boxes in the pic, it was just a design concept).

Thank you all, in advance from Toronto (where it snowed today).

    Brian

Why not use toggle buttons? They sound like what you're after

You could also do this with a listbox and set the font size really large, this would make it more touch friendly.

Thank you very much. I hadn't thought about that (because I didn't know about them). I'm going to take the morning to read up. Typical engineer I am, I learn as I go, solving tasks as needed. Many thanks...I'll see if this is the ticket. Brian
