I am wondering if I can pls get some assistance in creating a macro that will consolidate data.
Basically I have my "summary" sheet where I will manually key in data such as actual, planned/FC. Once I am done entering the data, I want to have the ability to store it, so I created a "data warehouse" sheet.
Is it possible to have a macro that I can click on that will transfer the "actual" and "planned/FC" data into the respective table in the "data warehouse" sheet? I would like if the macro can be a vlookup of some sort in the event the name of the metrics (column C in summary) change. Also, as the macro will run and add the data to the warehouse tab, can it also add the data (dd-mm-yy) in row 2 on the "Data warehouse" tab? this way I can keep a reference to a particular day.
And lastly, as the dates get entered into row 2 on "data warehouse" tab, can the dates also be stored in the "lookup" tab, cell A2 down?
