how the "Add Reputation" button works

Hello Forum Experts,

i just want to know how the reputation works.

just before a time i wanted to give reputation to Jindon Sir but i can't do that.

Popup msg show me "You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to jindon again."

"spread some Reputation around" means what? i don't understand.
and also i have not giving any reputation to jindon sir for this post but msg show me " before giving it to jindon again".

how it works or what is the procedure to give the reputation.
i read the forum rules but there is not specify any reputation rule.
Please suggest me.

Normally, it means that you cannot give reputation to the same person again and again without giving some to someone else. It helps prevent abuse of the system.. So.... try giving some to someone else, and then try Jindon again.

if you have not previously given any to Jindon, this sounds like a fault. Once again, try giving some to someone else, and then try Jindon again.

I believe it means simply that you cannot give reputation to the same person twice in a row- it does not have to be for the same question.

Before posting this Post i gave reputation point to TMS for my last post.
now i give the reputation point to Jindon sir.

it means i can not give the reputation point to a same expert back to back.

Hello Experts,

i think i had given reputation to Jindon sir on 28-09-2017 for that concern post.
today's my post is totally new and he helps me a lot so this is my responsibility to appreciate him with words and reputation points.

you say twice in a row means its not considering days (Last Date:-28-09-2017). i have to give reputation point to another expert then Jindon Sir isn't it?

That does not mean you should give a random rep to someone else, just so you can rep jindon (or anyone else for that matter) again
