Checking for excel update
Hey guys,
I have a question :
It's possible to check with vba if the office pack has an update? If yes to display a message?
I've searched for this option but i don't know with what to compare the function Application.Version
I've attached a picture with the update notification

To update your products in the Microsoft Office, Open any of the Office programs and click on FILE > Account and find the Office Update button.
Looking for a VBA answer is a little harder. Looking at the Object Browser for the word Update leads to:

Perhaps one of these settings would help, but it claims after 2010 this should not be used.

Thank you for pointing some directions. As for the idea of "deprecated and should not be used" im afraid that i must find a solution (it's a must)
