New to Excel 2013 and programming and VBa, can I use VBA to automate finding specific values in Column A then moving the partial text values to the same row of the appropriate Column? I have 8 spreadsheets containing 20000 to 30,0000 rows and about 28 columns with Column A containing a string of text that does not following a naming convention - so use of the Data/Text to Columns to split it up works, but takes 4-5 days to then sort & move everything into the correct column. I saw on various forums the use of Find and moving data to the next column, but can't get it to work and land in the correct row/column. If this can be automated, I'll then try to automate changing the text to ALL CAPs. Any advise, help you could give me on how to get this accomplished would be greatly appreciated.
