Large Mysterious Text

Hello,

I never noticed this crazy happening until I was training people and it was pointed out to me but I have these massive words being printed that shouldn't be there. I have tried a few ways to get rid of them since they are messing up my print area big time. Here is what I have tried:

1. If I clear the entire sheet they do not disappear.

2. I have entered developer mode and was unable to select them

3. I checked the headers and footers and they weren't there

4. I went to page break view and it shows the sheets as grey which I believe means they shouldn't print but when I go to print it still wants to print 252 pages.

It really doesn't make sense.

Delete the two named ranges stage and stage1 and probably Blah (!!) as well. Indeed your named ranges look a bit of a mess. go through them carefully and weed out the dross.

and then delete the named range Print area, too.

Nothing busted there, just a external links and a table.
I suggest you cleanup your work

It was the final stage named area that was the culprit.
