How do i change SourceData for all pivots in workbook while disconnect/connect slicers v2

    Hi Guys

    I hope you can help?

I have created quite a large workbook with over 70 individual worksheets, each with a pivot table. I have a dashboard at the front end pulling all the relevant pivot charts into one sheet with slicers to filter data. I thought it would be a simple matter of changing data source and refreshing data and all the work would be automated. This is not the case, unfortunately. I would have to go in and run macros for each individual worksheet. Then I discovered VBA and the link (well, Address as I didn't know how to insert a link) below that would seem to be the solution but I can't get it to fit my data.

    https://www.excelforum.com/excel-pro...slicers-2.html

I have three slicers : vSlicers = Array("Territory", "Product", "Month of Posting Date")

    Source Data: ("Data Dump")

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Joe

Why would you want to change the data source? The answer might suggest another solution. Specifically, I am thinking of converting the data source into an Excel Table (because they know how big they are), and then having a macro clear the table and then either import or paste new data into it. The source remains the same; the contents change.
One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.

    Hi Dflak

Thanks for getting back to me. Yea, I think I got a work around without being too fancy. I just removed slicers manually then changed source data to a table then updated all. It would have been nice to have code but he ho, I was out of my depth there lol
