Select range of rows based on cell value

Hi,

In Cell R1, I have some number (say 50), I want macro to select range(C1:C50) and put Text as "ABC".

Any advice please.

of course, it assumes there is valid number in R1 (i.e. integer between 1 and Rows.Count)
Note, apart from few, very specific/special use cases, there is no need to select anything in VBA.
