vba macro to link powerpoint with excel

    Hello All,

I have attached a demo excel and ppt both for better understanding.

    Current procedure:
    I go to excel sheet1
copy value from cell E4 and paste it in ppt 1st slide's 1st text box.
    come back to excel
copy value from cell E6 and paste it in ppt 1st slide's 2nd text box

and repeat the same exercise till the time I finish copying numbers from all excel sheets tp all slides in ppt.

I have 40 sheets to fill and it takes lot of time. Hence I am lloking for vba macro which will do the same thing for me.

    Hi
    this macro assumes:
    • the only shapes on your powerpoint slides are textboxes
    • the values on each sheet of the excel spreadsheet go in textboxes on successive slides
    • every value in every worksheet of your excel workbook is to be copied to the active presentation, and there are enough textboxes on each slide to accommodate all the values

Note that you must have the PowerPoint object library selected under tools > references in your VBA area for this to work.

    Hi NickyC

I am getting 'User Defined Type Not Defined' error.

I have already selected PowerPoint object library in reference menu.

    Hello
Make sure you have checked the right reference

If you did that step and the problem still there ..
On the error message click on Debug and copy the yellow line to know the position of the error
