matching exact format as template when copy/paste issue

Hi

Is there a way for a vba to create a copy of a tab or worksheet template and match the exact formatting (in terms of row and column spacing, cells colors, row and coi]lumn grouping and etc) as the worksheet template in the same file?
I ran into situations whereby sometimes the copy of the template created has wider rows and columns or the groupings are regrouped when it's created. Also sometimes the columns are grouped but the rows are ungrouped though they should all be grouped. I am sure there is a way to replicate the exact formatting as the template but not quite sure how.
