Data entry for randomly generated teams

Hello,

I'm not entirely sure if this problem requires VBA but I get the feeling it might.

Suppose I have a function that generates teams randomly for me. I am wondering if I can enter a single score for each team, that then gets attributed to the individuals within that team on another sheet?

Ok, that probably confused a lot of people, but luckily I have attached a Sample that I think does a much better job of explaining my problem - Please see below.

If my first problem turned out too easy, this might be a little harder: After I submit the scores and they get sent to the 'Data' sheet, can the data sheet be 'self-building'? For example it keeps record of each score, and keeps adding them along the row that it's supposed to? (Probably another poorly worded question, sorry)

^ problem with this solution is if the person does not exist in either team...what to you want it to do?
just show them as not playing or assign 0?

the extra credit will probably need VBA as you need to "record" information at point in time
