How to access web application using macro code

HI ,

I am looking for macro code to access my web application and need to do some action on my application if I click on one button in excel sheet .I am new to this macro programming. Kindly give me some idea to do the same.

Steps:
1. if I click on button in excel, control should access my application which will open in IE and need to give username & pwd.
2. once launched the application I need to do some action in my application.


how can I achieve this using excel macro. Kindly guide me.
