Using conditional forming of a cell to change the color of a chart.

OK- here is my dilemma.

The attached example demonstrates how you can change the color of a bar chart based on the color of a particular cell (row 5). It WILL also change the color based on the conditional formatted colors in row 3.

You can see in that pressing the “PRESS” button will change the Examples whatever color the cell they are set to.

Here is my problem. I WANT the conditional colors from example 2 BUT I need them to be fully intact line in example1.

I don’t know enough about coding to change the macro to do this. Can anyone offer some assistance please?

I have looked all over to find a solution and cannot. I thought to use a shape instead but the examples I find will not allow me to use conditional forming so this is the best I have.

I am hopeful that the code could be changed to use the color of one cell but use the value “1” of another.
