    Copy formula help

    Hi
I'm after a macro to copy a formula down in column d based on if there is data in the corresponding cell in column a.
    Eg

if a1 to a11 had data the formula in d1 would copy down to d11

    Re: Copy formula help

    You are not thinking clearly.

To do what you ask you would need a for next loop and an if then statement etc etc.

You can do it a lot faster as follows:-

If you do not want the user to see the formulas being pasted and then cleared then turn off screen updating.

As I'm new to VBA I think I understand winon's easier at the moment and think I can adapt this to work for what I want.
