Macro to select custom date ranges and update line graph

Hello All,

I have been tinkering all day but I cannot find a way to be able to do this!

Currently have a simple line graph showing Income and Expenses, I would like to be able to run a macro to be able to see the graph for a calendar year or financial year (Cal Yr 2017, Fin Yr 2017, Cal Yr 2018, Fin Yr 2018).

I have a simple test dataset attached with data from Jan 2017 but I will be building on this.

I would really appreciate any help with this.

P.S (In the graph slicer, if you also happen to know how to show two series as a slicer choice (i.e. a choice to select Income V Expenses as well as being able to select individual series) that would also be really useful.)
