The use of AI tools (e.g. chatGPT, BARD, GPT4 etc) to create forum answers is not permitted. If a user is believed to have used such tools to provide a forum answer, sanctions may be imposed.
HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK:Unregistered, Fast answers need clear examples. Post a small Excel sheet (not a picture) showing realistic & representative sample data WITHOUT confidential information (10-20 rows, not thousands...) and some manually calculated results. For a new thread (1st post), scroll to Manage Attachments, otherwise scroll down to GO ADVANCED, click, and then scroll down to MANAGE ATTACHMENTS and click again. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.

how to add a date when opening up the worksheet

so i have a worksheet "Production Timesheet Checklist" that has a field with a date in it.

i need a macro that adds "7" to a date field ("B1"). Also need the macro to ask if the date should be updated.

i guess i need the worksheet open function to make this work. not sure of what else i need to do.

thoughts everyone?
