Macro for pasting/resizing from Excel and other MS Projects

    Hi,

New to the forum and new to coding and Project.

I have created an overall dashboard in MS Project which I would like to populate from other MS Project files.
Now I am happy for these to be done as pictures but if there is a code to do them live then even better.

Ideally I am aiming for; paste multiple pictures, resize all, and position.

Can anybody help me get started with this coding as when i paste two pictures in, it is the same one, not sure if it needs some sort of 'and' function?!

    Thanks

It might be as easy as recording your processes. Go to the developer tab in excel and click the record button. After that paste your image, resize it and then stop recording. It should capture your processes of pasting and resizing.

With that recorded you can now copy an image and run the macro, eliminating half of your process.

Hi, thanks for the reply, have tried to do that but it wont record the size adjustment and the fact it is two different pictures, just pastes the same two.

here is the recorded code. Coding.jpg

What exactly do you want to do?

Do you want to automate MS Project using VBA from another application, eg Excel?
If posting code please use code tags, see here.

What I would like is to paste pictures/graphs into and MS Project report which come from Excel and from other MS Project Dashboards, ideally with resize and positioning to save doing it all manually.
