Allow clicking in the ormula bar on a protected cell

    Hi,

I don't think there is a way but thought I'd ask... If I lock down formulas on a sheet and protect the sheet...I then do not seem to be able to click on the formula bar so that all referenced cells in that formula have colour borders around them.

Note, I can already see the formula but don't like the fact that I am no longer able to have the referenced cells highlighted with colour borders that is very useful visually to the user.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

That feature is only available when you can edit a formula.
