Automations and comparisons with VBA

I have a spreadsheet that saves automatically every day with the file name format "yyyy-mm-dd file.xlsx" into a specific file location "C:\Users\OST"

Each day the spreadsheet will have new data added. But I would like to see the changes that have happened from day to day.

Here's my thoughts:

1. Can I automatically have a macro that will take the data on the newest file and create a sheet with the name of the file as the sheet name?
2. Can I have some kind of formatting or alert that tells me the specific data that is different from the previous day's data?
3. Is there a better solution that I haven't thought about?

The automatic answer to your 3 thoughts?, especially for the third one is YES!.
Now, if you want to know how, you need to be more specific, and post a data sample:
.- do you work on a blank template or over a "yesterday's" book.
.- how is your data arranged
.- do you only add data or add/change
.- etc.
