how to amend formula to specification

Hi

I trying to amend the formula below, I feel that I am not far away but I need some assistance.

=IF(OR(ISBLANK(D8), ISBLANK(E8)), "",E8-D8)

I want it to do, if cell E8 or D8 or both are empty do nothing if both contain values then E8-D8.

Your formula looks fine to me. What's wrong with your formula?

If both need to have something in them, use AND, not OR

The problem im having is the formula is working when one or the othe cell contain values too
