how can i make this array change the cell in a column based on a text array

so X is the text array and Y is the range to check. basically if the range (in column D) on bigmaster matches one of the text arrays, it changes the cell in column L to a "3".

how can i do that?

i only want the cell in column L to change if its supposed to be a 3, otherwise leave the cell contents alone. i tried to remove the else statement but it copies over data from another column.
