Macro asking to manually update values

Hi there,

I have a Microsoft workbook data spreadsheet (also macro enabled) that I'm referencing with a macro enabled workbook. When running the two spread sheets on the same PC, the macro enabled workbook is updating automatically with no issues. When running the workbook on a separate computer, upon saving the workbook the macro enabled workbook is asking to update the values and forces me to select the data spreadsheet, much like opening an existing file. I want the macro enabled work book to not ask to reopen the file when the data spreadsheet saves much like it would if the same PC had both spreadsheets open. Is this possible?
