I have crafted an Excel workbook that should work as a miniature system to do my pension administration. I want to avoid users saving many options of the workbook as each workbook will represent a pension scheme and having variants will cause confusion on the bonafide data. I therefore want users to be able to update the necessary cells with contributions and thereafter save the changes updated but they should in no way have the option of saving the workbook with a different name and to a different location. I have browsed and got a macro that requires a password for both Save and Save As. I however want a macro that requires a password only for the Save As option. Any help granted will be highly appreciated. I must admit that that I am a novice in VBA but I am also a quick learner.
