MISSING REFERENCE: Troubleshooting

Hi,

I received a workbook from work and on my machine it breaks due to Missing References (I see in this in the Tools/References and notice MISSING

Pretty much the issue is what is occurring here...

It's strange because when the code in the workbook is ran on the other persons computer (Not mine) it works fine.

In order to fix these missing references is there anything I can figure out from there computer that will help me resolve the issue on mine?

For example, if they have access to a particular drive/folder and I don't --I am guessing that would cause an error too?

Hi swade730,

This happens when code is written using early binding and then everyone who will be using the workbook does not have the exact same version on Excel installed as the person who wrote the code.

Though now onerous, your best bet is convert all instances of early binding to late binding when a workbook is being used by different people in different regions.
