the macros in this project are disabled

Hi I’ve been using visual basic for my excel files for more than 2 years. But since my laptop has been reformatted which just recently, I can no longer use VBA for my files. Everytime I try to use VBA, a message pops up that says “the macros in this project are disabled”. Even if I have it enabled, the same message pops up. Please help me what to do.

VBA is not my expertice, but

1) you don't see any macro at all?

2) you don't get acces to the macro's you see?

If you are looking for macro's which where stored in the startdirectory (always available if you start excel), they maybe lost since you formatted the laptob.

Can you record a macro? If not, I suspect your IT department didn't install VBA when they reinstalled Office.
