Run Macro in All Excel Files in Folder Excel for Mac 2011

    Hello all,

Going out of my mind trying to get this to work. I have a really long macro that I would like to run on all files in a folder. I get a run time error on line:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
    that says "Device Unavailable".

I have read many things talking about using ":" instead "/" but I have tried both. I have also ready that macs can not use wildcards (e.g., "*") but I have seen a number of people using macs not have a problem with this.

Does anyone see what I am doing wrong here?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks! This looks pretty informative. I just downloaded the sample workbook and it appears I may be pushing the boundaries of my abilities here. I'll let you know how it goes. Luckily it's well annotated

Sorry in advance for posting all this code. I just can figure out how to use it for my needs. Any idea how to use the info from the function at the bottom of the code to run my own macro in each file?

I should also add that I just deleted the portion of the code responsible for splitting the text of file name and pasting into active workbook.

Here you go - this is how you can add your own code. After searching internet a lot i was finally able to make Mac version of opening all files within a folder and refreshing it automatically - this code does that - i used my work inside the code shared in the link above
