ID - Auto generate

Hello there.

So i'm building a DB to use at work but i'm having a problem.

I want to associate an ID for each new worker.

1 - James
2 - john

And as i'm creating new workers it th userform and the code behind will automatically create a new ID.

I've tried different thing's that i saw online but i'm not able to do something that works.The ID will also be the code that i will search any worker from the db(using a userform).

Any ideas?

can you post an example of you spreadsheet

click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.

Depends on how you want the ID to look like.
If it's just increasing numbers this will take care of it.
