Timer unable to close wb correctly if other wb active at same time

Hi Guys,

I have a timer set up in the workbook so, if it has been unused for an amount of time the workbook auto closes and saves so everyone else in the office can access it if they need to. The problem is if I have this workbook open and I have another one open and if the second workbook is the active one the timer code is giving me an error below with the bit in red highlighted yellow when debugging it. As a result the wole closing procedure fails and therefore not re-hiding all the sheets prior to closing and potentially leaving them visible on the next time of opening. I think I understand the problem. The splash sheet at this time is not visible which is causing the problem (I think). Is there a workaround to allow this workbook to close correctly in the backround if another wb is active? Any help greatly appreciated.

The Sub which is run on a particular time, try to activate the workbook as the 1st line of code, and see if that works.
