Excel Scroll Bars

Hey guys!

I am working on a school project that involves manipulating loads of data and plotting it on scatter graphs. The point of it is basically modelling data - fitting the theoretical curve to actual data points. I have a few coefficients to manipulate which change the shape of the theoretical curve. I have been manually setting their values so far, but I was wondering if it was possible to make a scroll that changes the cell value on a logarithmic scale (values would need to range from about 1e-10 to 1e-4.

PS.
Is there any tool in excel that lets me best fit a curve like that by automatically choosing the coefficients that are needed for the best fit?

Without an example to work with it is difficult to help provide a solution.
Excel has scroll tools that can be inserted. They are available under Control area of the Developer menu/ribbon.

Insert a scroll bar or spin button. Link it to a cell. The scroll or spin will change the value of the linked cell incrementally.
Use the linked cells value to change the cell that you are currently manually changing.
