VB or Macro to normalise email addresses

Hi!

I'm after some help (I've found sort of solutions for both of my problems, but nothing that ticks all boxes!)

I am dealing with large extracts of email addresses generated by incoming spam / malicious email, the addresses use all available email separators e.g. firstname_surname@ firstname.surname@ etc

In addition, the extract contains a number of invalid domain names e.g. firstname.surname@wrongdomain.com

I need to remove all but the '.' and then remove all invalid domain names

Is there a script that could be run against a .csv?

Can you provide a small sample file that mirrors the formatting of your .csv file, please?

1) Do you mean you want to delete every email address that's not of the form a.b@c.com?

2) Where does the code get this list of invalid domain names? If the answer is "from me", can you provide that list, or an example list that you could modify?
