formula not returning the correct value

    formula not returning the correct value

    i have a macro that does this on a line:

    yet what it returns on the sheet is =Estimating1!'M48'

    notice the ticks on M48. how can i get rid of these? when i run the macro, what happens is i get #NAME?

    can anyone assist me?

    nevermind, i changed the line to: ActiveCell.Formula = "=estimating1!M48"
    and if fixed the problem

    if you want to use M48 (i.e. A1 notation) it should be

    your original code is for R1C1 notation

    LOL, just joking around.

    Please attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

    Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window (or use the paperclip icon).
