(2016 issue) Button to add a line from one sheet to a different sheet.

Hi all,

I am having a hard time debugging this because it runs fine on my computer, using Excel 2013.

It currently doesn't run on two of my co-workers computers who are running Excel 2016.

It did work previously, then a couple of weeks ago it just stopped working.

The usual error is:

Run-time error '-21474`7848 (80010108)':
Method 'Select' of object '_Worksheet' failed

Can you attach a desensitized version of the workbook with the code. I tried to just copy and paste your code and change my sheet names, but, it didn't work.

I converted all the data to be generic.

I tried commenting out the "If ActiveSheet.Name = "Parts Catalog" Then" and its "End If" statement and it changed the error to:

run-time error '-2147417848 (80010108): automation error the object invoked has disconnected from its clients

I have been reading through the Google search results and I am really not sure why that would be happening with this code...

Well, I downloaded you workbook and ran it, but I couldn't duplicate the problem...most likely because I'm not running 2016. Sorry I wasn't able to help.

I appreciate you looking at it. Maybe I should adjust the title to really highlight the 2016 part of it.


Anyone else have any ideas?
