    Unhappy Excel with SQL Server

    hiii,, i want to know can we connect to Sql Server through Vba for inserting data into Sql pls help.. i want to store my excel data into database to generate reports from them... is it possible through vba.. pls guide me..

    Hi vini,

    I know Excel can pull SQL data into Excel for reports. I'm not sure if you can write out to the SQL data using Excel, but I do believe you can with Microsoft Access. In Access you can LINK to the SQL and therefore write to it as well as pull from it.

    in the link u give me they are perfoming task using Visual Studio but I'm creating a macro(add-in) in which i want to connect to the Sql Management Studio and perform actions like Insert, Update, Delete,etc.. Is it Possible
