I have a number of workbooks with a "called" add in menu bar for tasks specific to the workbook. These are all opened from a common "menu" workbook. When file is closed a "called" macro disables the add in. Perfect. My problem is that one particular user opens two or three of these workbooks simultaneously leading to 2 or 3 specific menu bars. (No problem as long as one of the macros is not opened in the wrong workbook).

My problem is that this user has the habit of closing the files from the small workbook icons on the taskbar. For some reason this closes the workbook without calling the close menu macro.

If the file is reopened it is trying to create an add in where one instance is open. Copy of sample vba attached. Any ideas how to sop this or get the menu to close on exit would be appreciated
