Macro to show all Precedents & Dependents instantly

Hi Forum

Need help. I want to write a macro which when run will show all the precedents to a worksheet. And similarly another macro to show all the dependents of the worksheets.

Can anyone help me out?

Hi,

You'll need to define what YOU mean by precedents and dependents for worksheets. Those terms are usually associated with cells not worksheets.

Yeah my bad. Okay to reword :-

I want to know:-

1.) Which all sheets in the workbook are referenced in the active sheet
2.) And which all sheets are picking up data (or have references) from active sheet.

One macro or two macros can do the job I suppose.

Thank you Mike . Will this work for finding which all sheets are referencing the active sheet if i make few changes ? i.e. all the dependent cells outside the active sheet.

Can you tell me which variables to change for doing the same?
