    Type mismatch error in userform

Hi, I have this userform for data entry and users use the date picker to select date for Date assigned, date completed and date cut textboxes. An error occurs when users leave the date completed or date cut textboxes empty as they may want to fill that data in at a later time. How do I code it such that the userform will accept those textboxes to be empty?

Thanks Mike, that worked great! Can you also help me with another problem in this file? In each worksheet code, there is this code that makes the cells in column R look checked when clicked. It works great, until someone tries to highlight the whole row. the font in the highlighted row becomes font Marlett. is there any better way to do this?
