Create charts in VBA

Hiya,

I am designing a business management system with my data sets in access and all userforms created with excel vba.
I am quite new to this and so not completely sure if my idea is possible, but could i use a command button on a userform to get the required data from access and generate a chart ?

SImple answer is yes, the more in depth answer requires more info, are the datasets always the same size etc?

Easiest way to do it is to import the data to a set range in your workbook which is setup as the data for the chart

Hi,

i am trying to create a blood bank management system. So all my data is in access and all forms in excel.
I'd like to have to option to create charts from excel that would represent blood stocks.
Would the range definitely have to be on the sheet ?
