Formula vlookup does not update automatically in macros or with refresh all

I have the exact same problem.

I have two excel ( both open)
One with automatic calculation( the other one I use as reference I don't know because is in other machine)
I have a vlookup point to other excel.
I run a macro that update everything. but the vlookup dont get updated, the same as the guy here describe better than I can describe myself.

But the vlookup don't. If I hit F2 and enter then I get the new value.




here is the problem isolate



There are two excel files here

Take the one reference and put in other computer with access throught network

Open the two files one in each computer
Go to the reference file( in the other computer), change the value and save and keep it open

Now you can go to the file1exampleerror ( in other computer)
And click in refresh all, nothing
You can run the macro to update and nothing

now f2 in the cell and then hit enter and magic happens.

I want to refresh this by macro but I have several values in the worksheet.

This will ensure that calculated values are updated, even if the macro switches calculation to manual first.
