    Completing OLE action

    Hello everyone,
I am new at this forum so please be easy on me.
    I have the following problem.
I have written an app in visual basic which connects to Excel and reacts when user double click on the cell.
All is fine when UAC is turned off. However when UAC is not turned off then OLE action is not completed unless user clicks somewhere on the spreadsheet.

In my code I've tried to use moExcelApp.SendKeys "{ESC}" but it does not work.
The cursor still flashes in the cell which was double clicked.
But when I click anywhere on the spreadsheet OLE completes fine.
    I appreciate any help.
    Thanks,
    jas

    Re: Completing OLE action

Your problem is interesting. I wish I could be of more help; however, before I came to this forum, I found a similar one for VB & VB.NET, which may have several people who would know how to help you. Although, I've seen a Guru on here use VB objects within VBA code so you may get an answer.

In any case, you may want to try this forum: http://www.vbforums.com/ -- looks like it's run by the same people based on how the website is similarly structured.

    Hello jastrzebiec,

You should post the code you have for review. Currently, there is simply not enough data to provide you with a workable solution.
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross
