Work Rotation planner

Hi, I have googled for quite sometime and I could not find the answer. I need excel to caculate for me a planner where when one person takes leave on certain date, the next person will fill in the gap. And also each person must have a fair amount of days in a month. For example,

10 staffs
5 days work
Each person must have 2 or 3 or 4 days of duty per month on a rotational basic.

So whenever I plot in the leave plans of the staffs, excel could fill in the blanks on the days they are not on leave(s), and each person has a fair and equal days of duty per month.

Been googling but I'm not sure if excel can perform this task?
