i have an excel file where 5 users will be accessing at same time.
in that one user should be able to edit and all other users should have only read access.
if i give read only permission these users will not be able to filter . i dont want to give password protect.
is there any way to make excel readonly with filter option by writing the code.
Not that I know of.
If users will be suing the file at the same time you could think of setting the option to open read-only (see attached test file) The user that wants to make changes answers no and then the file is automatically blocked for the others until the first user closes the file
