New work opens automatically

Hi All,

In a report am trying to record a macro, but when trying to record a new workbook automatically gets opened and the macro is getting recorded in new workbook instead of the report am having.

Please advice what is the issue.

When you start the recorder.

You Get the options:

in this workbook

in personal workbook

in new workbook.

You must be selecting in new workbook.
