Excel formula to overcome Pivots

    Unhappy Excel formula to overcome Pivots

    I have 3 sheets
    1) Input sheet which have data
    2) Pivot Sheet which have pivot data
    3) Output sheet which have acrual requirenment


    i am doing the pivot on input sheet to satisfy output sheet requierment.. but i dont want to use Pivots..
    can anyone assist me how can output sheet requirment be achieved with formula... it will be of great help



    MY Director asked me to submitt a report .. if ths is done.. i will be able to move ahead..plzzz assist as soon as possible

    Hello
    Try using COUNTIFS, for example with your sample file:

    Formula: copy to clipboard
    =COUNTIFS(Input!$B$2:$B$8,$A2,Input!$C$2:$C$8,B$1)


    B2:C5 on the 'Output' Sheet.
