I have a file excel file on my pc and another excel file in my google drive.
I have some formulas in drive excel file to extract some data from the file in my pc.
The problem is once i close the file on my pc the formula in drive file does not work.
I have attached an example.
Try changing your formula like below to see if that works for you....
=SUMPRODUCT(('A file on PC'!$B$4:$B$17=B4)*'A file on PC'!$F$4:$F$17)

It works on drive file on my pc. But if i open it with browser it gives "#ERROR!" and when point mouse cursor on it it says "Formula parse error."
I dont use google docs, but I do know that the syntax of some of the formulas used there is very different from the native excel formulas - and some excel formulas are not even supported on google docs
