My spreadsheet works in excel 2010 but doesnt in 2007

I designed a macro where by if i enter the word ET in a cell, a picture appears. This works fine when i am using excel 2010. But when i use 2007, i get the pop up message run time error and the program will not display the picture when i type ET.

I really wish for them to be made compatible for all versions of excel

Any reason for this and how to fix?

Hello Ayoub99k,

Most newer versions of a computer program can handle a program of older versions without a problem. However, as soon as you try to apply it the other way round, you run into errors.

I would suggest that you try and create your program in the earlier version of Excel and then test it on the latest version/s of Excel you may have available.

Please read my post again, and then read the top paragraph of your Screenshot, which explains that there will be a SIGNIFICANT LOSS OF FUNCTIONALITY.
