How to indicate an error

Hi
I have several workbooks with monthly spreadsheets each with tables of bus drivers and dates they worked.
Every workbook is a diferrent bus.
I need to be sure that a driver wont give me overlaping days of work from one bus to the other in the same month.

Any suggestion?

I think the Vlookup is not the solution...

Perhaps I was not clear...
I have 5 workbooks for buses with 12 sheets for each month. In each sheet I have 6 columns: Driver, start date, finish date, start time, finish time.
I need to know if a driver registers twice on the same date in different bus.
If he does it in the same bus I can see on the sheet, but I do not see if he does it in two different bus (or more).
I don't know but just now I am trying to build a Macro (perhaps it is easier) but I am not getting satisfactory results.
