    Macro export from excel

    Hello,

I would like to create an excel file that pulls the date from another excel file.
Can you please tell me how can I create a macro that does so ?

    Thank you

you dont need a macro, just embed the cell with the date from the other file as a formula.

It looks like what we have here is a failure to communicate - but, yes, there are several ways - we just need to know the names of the books and sheets involved.

Are you pasting H:P to C:J or vice versa?

    Re: Macro export from excel

so I have 5 excel files:
    Salary
    Bonus
    Travel
    Leisure
    Vacation

In these files, I only need column H to P
and I want to paste them into one excel file into column C to M
I want to avoid doing file by file because it will take me a while

    Re: Macro export from excel

Attach a couple of sample workbooks. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.
