    Button to lock cells

    I have an approval button on my form which I want to use to lock all the cells so they can't be changed. See attached

    You have several merged cells in your range. Try unmerging them and run the macro again. Merged cells very often cause problems for Excel. You should avoid using them if at all possible.
    You can say "THANK YOU" for help received by clicking the Star symbol at the bottom left of the helper's post.
    Practice makes perfect. I'm very far from perfect so I'm still practising.

    I agree with Mumps comment that merged cells are definitely more trouble than they're worth!

    You can use the following code if you REALLY don't want to unmerge those cells:
