Select range based off column name

I want to make a scatter plot. Every column is named in the first row. So I coded two classes. One that finds the column number where the name (string) is located and one that creates the chart. The following code does not work and I cant figure out why. I get no runtime errors the graph is generated but with no series. ANy ideas?

how is: Sub CreateChart(var As String, var2 As String, var3 As String) being called? How are the var-x's being passed to it?

It is triggered when the user presses a button. I tested the FindColumn with a MsgBox and it is working fine (returning the correct int for the column name)
